The cities of The Rimewild
Where lives begin, and where they come to trade, scheme and hide. Each has its own map.
The city of HarrowmereHarrowmere is a walled lake town with a river cutting east to west through its middle into the lake, and crowded outer shacks along the shore. Its guild halls and hiring yards sit inside the walls, while the poor and unlicensed trades spill out onto the stilts beyond them.
The city of DunhammerDunhammer is a walled dwarf city packed into a narrow mountain pass, with clan terraces and great forges climbing the slopes above a crowded gate-market. Its quarters spill beyond the walls onto the Slag Fields and charcoal slopes, and a river runs out along the western lowland.
The town of HearthdaleHearthdale is a walled halfling market town of a few hundred souls, with a river running in from the north along its west side and a paved south road entering through a toll-gate. Its market and the Table Barn sit at the centre, with mills, farms and fields spreading out to the east.
The Mere ShoreThe Mere Shore is a string of small fishing and reed-cutting hamlets along a lake's south shore, with no walls, just clustered houses, nets drying on poles, and paths running between landings and fields. A river cuts through the middle of the settlement to the water, crossed by a bridge and lined with quays on both banks.
